This week i am selling a fantastic looking Silver AKAI AM-1010 AM/FM Stereo Radio Receiver (Tuner Amplifier) from the late 1970s in very good condition with a lovely Yellow back light on the Tuner display and big chunky knobs for Power, Volume, Tuning, Bass, Treble and Input controls. Features on this Receiver include Turn Table input on the rear and inputs for Cassette/Tape Deck also an AUX to connect anything else you have- CD Ipod etc. There is also Outputs for 2 sets of speakers on the rear and a Headphones Jack socket on the front.Other controls include- Mono/Stereo option for Radio, Loudness and Tape Monitor switches.On the rear there is a ferrite Rod Aerial and Binding post connections for external Aerials. All Audio inputs are RCA but there is an extra 5 pin Din socket so you can add a 2nd Tape Deck. Speakers are standard Bare wire clip sockets too so no hunting for specialised plugs.This piece of audio is 17 1/2 inches or 44cm wide and 4 1/2 inches or 12cm high. It also has a lovely wood veneered case. This Receiver has been cleaned inside and out, all switches and controls are silent with no crackle and it sounds fantastic with a lovely warm sound, i have also replaced all the internal lamps so they are nice and bright. The Output Wattage is - 14 Watts per channel but it seems pretty loud for its time and speakers will need to be rated at 8-16 Ohms.Cosmetic condition is 9 out of 10 as there is the odd light mark and some slight wear on the lettering of the volume control. AKAI AA-1010 Stereo Receiver defekt Sehr schöner Receiver von AKAI. Das Gerät war als Bastelprojekt während der Corona-Pandemie gedacht. Daraus ist leider nichts geworden, und nun fehlt die Zeit. Optischer Zustand: Der Receiver sieht fast neuwertig aus und hat nur minimale Gebrauchsspuren. Auf der Oberseite ist aus einem bestimmten Winkel ein ca. 2 cm kurzer Schatten im Furnier zu sehen. Ich habe nicht geschafft, das als Foto festzuhalten. Auf der Rückseite hat der Vorbesitzer 2 Aufkleber angebracht. Die Anzeige für die Abstimmung sitzt nicht mehr gerade im Gehäuse. Fehlerbeschreibung: Ich gebe den Receiver genau so weiter, wie ich ihn seinerzeit als defekt gekauft habe. Ich habe ihn nicht geöffnet. Das Gerät lässt sich einschalten, die Stromaufnahme ist unauffällig. Alle Potis und Schalter lassen sich bedienen und sind leichtgängig. Der Zeiger auf der Frequenzskala läuft mit, und der Tuner scheint zu empfangen, an den richtigen Stellen leuchtet die Stereo-Anzeige. Die Skalenbeleuchtung muss erneuert werden, sofern das Modell eine hat. Die kleine Anzeige links zur Abstimmhilfe scheint nicht zu funktionieren. An allen Lautsprecherausgängen liegt ca. 18V Gleichspannung an (dazu ein Hinweis: Nach meiner Recherche im Internet scheinen im Verstärker wohl diskrete Transistoren verbaut zu sein, die recht einfach ersetzt werden können).
