This cable has been personally tested by me and works great. It goes from the two speakers to the subwoofer. If you see the last picture I noticed that the outer casing got split open. None of the wires on the inside are damaged or broke open. Just the outer casing. I already put black electrical tape around the area and you probably would never even notice where it’s at. Just some thing I wanted to bring to your attention. All speakers and sub work, however the sound is not as loud as it should be. Its louder on DVD/CD than it is in Radio mode. Radio maxed out at 100 is loud, but it should be louder. You can definitely tell the difference at 50, the sub barely vibrates and the sound is low. And at 50% it should be louder than it is. I have reconnected everything hoping it was just a kink in the line or something coming loose, but that wasnt it. Unfortunately I dont know what the issue is at this point. Maybe there is a setting I am missing. System is being sold as/is, with no warranty for this reason. Please see all pics and ask any questions prior to bidding. Very good condition with only minor cosmetic markings which do not affect the items operation or performance. This item includes: Bose AV-3-2-1-iii Media Centre, Bose PS3-2-1-iii Subwoofer, linkage cable, original speakers, remote control (batteries included), power cable and S-video/component to SCART cable. Also, non-Bose speaker stands included. Item description/review - taken from cnet.com: Design Carrying on from the Series II system, the latest incarnation shares much of the same physical design, but adds HDMI connectivity and 1080p upconversion of DVD. This is a 2.1-channel system, meaning an active subwoofer and single pair of satellite speakers, so its not a true surround sound system in the 5.1-or-higher multichannel sense. Perhaps the Boses surround forté is the quality of centrally-placed audio. Voices and other central effects hang and image well between the two satellite speakers and with movie use, youd be forgiven for thinking there was a dedicated centre speaker below the TV screen. This is just as well because some 70 per cent of surround sound info is handled by this particular channel. Propping this up, the Acoustimass bass module also thumped out the lower registers well. Both bass and treble can be compensated for and these are effectively the main audio adjustments. Conclusion This entry-level Bose is a doddle to set up and use, plus it makes a decent job of providing pseudo movie surround from a 2.1 speaker configuration. Musically, its not quite so convincing, but if youre short on living space and dont need a Blu-ray player, this Bose system has plenty of lifestyle appeal.
