This unit is working, contacts cleaned, all switches etc... both channels nice and clean, perfect for series I or II, I just listened to an hour plus of Frank Sinatra Live, The Beatles White Album and more, and it sounded just great. I am a 901 owner myself (Series I and Series VI ver 2) and ran it on my own system. I got it as a back up and if I were to keep it I would have the caps redone just because of the age, but it is working right now. This is listed as parts / not working because I cannot guarantee it and it is sold as is. These are not so often seen. If you have 901s this is what you need to make them sing. DHS speaker on ebay services these and for a small amount they end up as good as new if not better. Cabinet I feel is better than typical w/ some corner damage / dings /chips and I believe a repair in front as seen in the pics - not too much but just so you know. Please see the pics. Great little guy for restoration. SOLD AS PARTS REPAIR. UNTESTED. NEON BULB IS BURNT. THERE IS POWER GOING TO IT. SEE PICTURES. Power cord has been replaced with a proper one. Everything else looks stock. Most likely it works as is. I just didnt have the proper means of testing it. The physical condition is outstanding. Restore it, or use it for parts. This unit is working, both channels nice and clean, perfect for series III or IV which I read share the same EQ curve, I just listened to an hour plus of Charlie Parker, Milt Jackson, Ellington and more and it sounded just great. I am a 901 owner myself (Series I and Series VI ver 2) and ran it on my own system. This made my system sound wonderful and despite what Bose may have put out in the past, you can absolutely tailor your own system with any series EQ you wish because although there are subtle differences, frankly they all sound great. This eq seems to have a slightly warmer sound than my series VI eq. If I were to keep it I would have the caps redone just because of the age, but it is working right now. This is listed as parts / not working because I cannot guarantee it and it is sold as is. If you have 901s this is what you need to make them sing. DHS speaker on ebay services these and for a small amount they end up as good as new if not better. The wood cabinet I feel is better than typical w/ some minor corner damage dings etc - not too much but just so you know. The aluminum face has more dings and rubs, but its clean and looks ok. EQ901B-I/II Replacement Upgrade for BOSE 901 Series I and II Equalizers. Purchased in March, absolutely love this unit over the original Bose EQ. Unfortunately I’m moving and my new space will not accommodate 901s, so the EQ has to go. The RCA cables on my receipt are not included. I haven’t changed any of the input settings or digital settings. The unit is in perfect working condition. My loss is your gain! Let me know if you have any questions.

Bose 901 Series III Active Equalizer Vintage - Plugged in and the light on the front goes on - slider controls are easy to move. Selling as parts only. There is some oxidation on the aluminum that you can see on the corner and top.
