Bryston 4Be Amplifier, Never rack mounted, Very, Very Clean, low hours... Factory shipping box. This is the super rare 4Be pro version. The e is for engineering. This model was just before the NRB.It has XLR and 1/4 TRS connections. I will include a pair of gold-plated 1/4 TRS to RCA adaptors also. The pro models have the potentiometers in the front, just above the number 4, to adjust the right and left channels independently. Brystons 4B stereo power amplifier consists of two amplifier modules, each with its own ±85v power supply, which can be operated independently or combined (MONO mode) to form a single 800 watt amplifier (8? load) in a 3 rack height chassis. Operated independently (DUAL mode) each channel can deliver 250 watts into 8? (or 400 watts into 4?). Each of the two amplifier modules use 8 of Brystons custom power transistors, for a total of 16 output devices per 4B. It has not been used for about 15 years. Sent to Bryston Canada early this year for a complete checkup. I wanted them to make sure it was operating at factory specs. Received it back in June. A copy of the receipt is included. I only opened the box to powered it on and take photos. Played it for about an hour. It sounds fantastic!!! You will not find a cleaner 4b amplifier. Only thing it needs is some new rubber stick on feet on the bottom. You can find them here on eBay pretty cheap. Never been rack mounted, no scratches on the front panel, top plate or sides.
