I was able to hook this up and listen to about 10 minutes of a CD with no skips or interruptions, BUT... the lcd screen is very dark and hard to read. I took a photo of it for the listing and it’s actually DARKER than the picture. Its very hard to read, almost like the light behind it is not working. NO REMOTE

This is a beautiful high end audiophile CD player with original box and packaging. I hooked it up to a receiver and tested it to be working (door opens/closes, cd plays, will REW/FF tracks etc)..BUT… All of the lights stay ON on the lcd panel. Nothing changes, flickers or shows “movement” when the cd plays, every light stays on (see pics, that is exactly what it looks like while playing) As is sale.
