Offered for sale is a used Carver Receiver 2000 Magnetic Field Power Amp. This is a tuner with 200 Watts of power in a light-weight case given the power supplied. The unit has been tested and works. The Phono output has distortion that I cannot resolve but all other outputs work. The receiver is in very good cosmetic condition and this one has the wooden sides that are also in good condition with only a small chip at the very rear of the left side. The Classic Receivers website describes this unit this way... The MXR-2000 can power most any speakers with 200 watts per channel and its Asymetrical Charge-Coupled FM Detector technolongy results in excellent FM Tuning and separation. The Sonic Holography technology is said to give music extreme detail and soundstage. Because of the age and nature of these vintage electronics this unit is being sold AS-IS with no returns.
