This Denon has had the Denon Link 3rd Generation upgrade even though the Denon Link port in the back states SE ( Second Editon ). When you go into the Menu and click on the Digital Output section for the Denon Link, you have the choice to select Denon Link 2 or 3. Great feature if you have a Denon Link 3 AVR. This allows for the full bit for bit digital transfer of the DSD signal on all your SACDs. This unit has been in a box most of its life. I just hooked it up a couple of weeks ago to confirm it is still working. It plays all formats this unit is suppose to. It sounds phenomenal and plays everything perfectly. The analog stage sounds warm and detailed with an exceptional sound stage. The only issue that I have found, is that when you open the tray, sometimes it wants to close immediately. Not sure what that is all about, but have looked online and people have said there is a sensor or controller that probably need to be sprayed with contact cleaner. The unit is in near MINT condition with only a few very small blemishes. Only to be seen upon very close examination. The remote is not the original, but functions 90% of the unit. The battery cover is broken, so you will have to tape it so the batteries wont fall out. Comes with power cord and a COPY of the Owners Manual. Denon DVD-3910 DVD SACD Super Audio CD Player Partially Working Audiophile HiFi. This Denon DVD-3910 player is in very good cosmetic condition. It has been thoroughly tested and it plays DVDs with no issues. The picture looks great and it sounds great. It also plays Super Audio CDs fine. However it has trouble with regular audio CDs. It attempts to play regular CDs but it cant successfully play them. I imagine the laser will need to be replaced to get it fully working. The tray ejects super smoothly and all the front panel buttons work fine. It plays DVDs and Super Audio CDs well, but it has trouble with regular CDs so it is not fully working. This is a great condition player that was well taken care of, it may just need a new laser. Sold as-is for parts or repair. A power cord is included (not pictured). No remote is included.
