I have fully cleaned the tape path, heads, capstans and rollers. The tape mechanisms are very stable and the sound quality is very impressive indeed, right across the frequency spectrum with a very vivid, lively an detailed presentation. The top end is pure and alive and the low end open and dynamic. This cassette deck will really help you get the most out of your cassettes, whether that be playback of pre-recorded tapes or for making excellent, transparent recordings at home. This Denon deck has all the features you need to do that, including Dolby B and C noise reduction and HX Pro headroom extension.
