Denon DRS-810 3 Head 4 motors Horizontal Loading Comes with original Manual, shipping box and Remote As in condition description this is playing cassettes but has symptoms that makes playing them hit and miss and getting it to play so one cassette can load fine and play and the next will not register properly and need some reloading and patience for it to register and play. All this player needs as I have had this new for 30 years from new and does hold some sentimental attachment so would be nice for someone who knows how to service it themselves who enjoy these projects possibly just looking for it to go to a good home as once this is serviced Im sure this will give many years of happy listening.. Main symptoms break down: Ejection button flashes when loaded and light push to tray seems to get it to register and accept cassette. Plays for approx 5 secs then stops, press play again and it plays fine after that. Most recent development recently is once tape loaded and press play no music playing, not registering on FL meters and try pressing stop or fwd/rew or eject buttons does not respond for around 7-10 seconds delay, this will not happen with one cassette but might happen with the next and have to reload two-three times for it to register or take up properly and will then play. Being upfront with the symptoms and guessing after 30 years of owning it with it been sat collecting dust for around ten years in between until I started using it a couple of years ago this is just in need of a good old service (new belts, oil, pulleys etc) for someone who enjoys and is conversant with these type of projects.
