I have accumulated hundreds of pieces of audio equipment over the 40 years I serviced and restored. Some are being sold as is and other are being restored by me. Lots of vintage parts too This is a Dynaco ST80. This is the first and only 80 have had that worked when I brought it up on a variac. Both channels clean and clear. I couldnt believe it so I checked all the caps and voltages and it was right on everything. Sounded very nice also. So I put it on the scope and analyzer and it passed every test perfectly. Put out 40 and 41 watts both channel driven with a 400 hz sine wave to clipping. Square wave was also perfect. I shook my head and hooked it up to my shop sound system(JBL 4311s, Carver Tuner preamp) and listened to it for a week. Sounded great, didnt overheat and never made any strange sounds(truly a miracle) Chassis is as good as it was new.Since I really dont like rebuilding 80s(either the st or sca) I decided to sell it as all original. This is a Dynaco MK III (Mark 3) amplifier high-quality output transformer that has an additional 70V output tap, part nimber Z-280. All of the other usual output taps are so this can be used in a standard MK III (just cap off the 70V tap wire).

Dynaco SCA-80 Amplifier with FM-3 DynaTuner In Original Boxes.. These came from an estate sale and look like they were well cared for, they were stored in the original boxes. Some of the text has worn off the front of the amplifier, a few letters on the bottom row of the black switches. Otherwise these are both cosmetically in very good condition. I powered them on just to determine the lights came on and could hear a hum. No other testing was done. Probably best to assume they dont work. SOLD AS-IS

Dynaco SCA-80Q Dynaquad 4 Dimensional Integrated Amplifier. I took this unit to my tech to look over. He cleaned the controls and switches and looked over the unit. The treble knob is very stiff but works. When you switch the tape monitor there's a fuzzy sound during the switching, but once switched there's no issue. Other than that everything works fine. The unit measures 13 by 10.5 by 4.
