For purchase is a set of ESS amt tweeters, removed from Monitor tower loudspeaker cabinets. Original Heil air motion drivers from ESS of Sacramento, with mounting kit (plates, bolts, pads). These are in great condition with clean diaphragms measuring 3.4 / 3.5 ohms. They will be packed with the utmost care, expect them to arrive as described. I usually ship within 36 hrs of completed payment. Thank you for looking.

For purchase, a gorgeous set of refurbished original ESS Heil amt 4 ohm woofers and passives. The surrounds were just replaced with open cell polyether foam in June 2023, and the bextrene cones are very clean. As most early ESS builds, these woofers have 2 voice coils wound on anodized aluminum formers. Resistance measurements are 3.4 and 3.3 ohms, respectively. They should be considered an essential replacement if your woofers are indeed compromised. Utilized in several models of amt1(x), these are drop-in ready for models such as amt1a, 1b, 1c, amt1am, amt monitor, and all bookshelf variants of those models. These are factory original bextrene 12 drivers by ESS of Sacramento, removed from amt1b loudspeakers, and the aluminum rings retrofitted with brand new discs. These drivers are optimized for the specific dividing networks and cabinet offerings that were available during the production years of amt1b and monitor tower builds, circa 1977 through 1980. Modern replacements (from ESS currently) are not engineered to be coupled with amt drivers, nor your existing crossover networks where applicable. No testing or sampling has been performed with the new, generic off the shelf woofer drivers provided by the new Los Angeles based ESS. Packing will be very stout, expect these to arrive as advertised. UPS or FedEx will be the carrier, please let me know if you have a shipper preference. High-End Projekt mit sehr hochwertigen Einzelelementen für Hifi-Liebhaber, funktionieren auch wunderbar an leistungsschwachen Röhren-Verstärkern (bei mir sehr schön mit 2A3 und 3-4 Watt), da der Wirkungsgrad mit ca. 98 DB sehr hoch ist. Natürlich geht es ebenso an Transitoren. Eine offene Schallwand (open buffle auch Dipol) ist ein Lautsprecher, der die Schallenergie sowohl nach vorne als auch nach hinten abstrahlt. Insgesamt kann ein solches System mit einem sehr offenen und räumlichen Klangbild überzeugen, auch im Bass Bereich ist dieser Aufbau oft herkömmlichen Lautsprechern überlegen (kein Dröhnen). Einzig die Aufstellung erfordert ca. 1 Meter Abstand zur Wand, um so in die Vorzüge dieses Systems zu kommen. Die Hochtöner sind mit ESS Heil Air Motion (etwa 500 €) bestückt, sehr detailliert und klangstark, sehr hoher Wirkungsgrad (98,5 dB), 4 Ohm Impedanz. Die Frequenzweiche ist nur mit den besten Kondensatoren und Spulen aufgebaut (Mundorf etc.), siehe Fotos. Der ESS Mitteltöner sorgt in diesem Aufbau für einen ausgewogenen Mittelbereich. Die Tieftöner werden durch einen Class-D Verstärker (hypex DS 4.0 – ca. 350 €) angesteuert, dieses Modul wurde noch einmal durch Anbringung hochwertiger Lautsprecherklemmen aufgewertet. Die UcD Digitaltechnik garantiert einen sehr niedrigen Ausgangswiderstand (400 Watt an 4 Ohm oder 200 Watt an 8 Ohm) Ein rundum gelungenes Audio-Projekt, das in aufwendigem Selbstaufbau (durch Profi) mit hochwertigen Elementen (Gesamtpreis der Einzelkomponenten ca. 2600 €) erstellt wurde. Da bei mir ein weiteres Paar Lautsprecher im Einsatz ist, kann dieses tollte Projekt in neue, wertschätzende Hände. Die Lautsprecher sind absolut wohnzimmertauglich, alles sauber verbaut, feine Tischlerarbeit, formschön und auch unverwüstlich (extrem festes Bambusholz). Aufgrund der Größe und des Gewichts können die Lautsprecher nicht versendet werden, daher nur Abholung in Kombination mit Probehören in der Nähe von Göttingen (ca. 20 KM südlich). Ich verkaufe zwei gebrauche originale Tieftöner aus meiner ESS AMT 1b (12 Zoll). Ich verkaufe diese, weil ich die Tieftöner gegen neue ausgetauscht habe. Da die Sicken nach den Jahren zerbröselt sind, habe ich diese erneuert und dabei ist es bei einem Bass nicht ganz geglückt.
