Harman Kardon HK 825 stereo preamplifier. Physically, it is in good preowned condition. Normal wear from use and age, One foot on bottom is missing cover. On one foot, the cover is torn. Some scratches.Could use cleaned. Powers on, but unable to test properly. Selling For Parts or As is because of that. This came from an estate sale where the gentleman was an audio guy with an amazing collection, but most items had been sitting on shelves for years due to illness. May just need cleaned up. Harmon/Kardon 2.0 + A/V amp; 2.1. Amp works great! Heavy and lots of power 100WPC x 5 Channels. Harman Kardon HK825 Stereo Preamplifier in very good condition and working order. It has some light scuffs on the top cover and minor dings on the front panel. The preamp has been serviced and partially recapped, its phono relay switches disassembled and cleaned. All functions work properly but being vintage electronics, the preamp is sold as is with no return or warranty. Nearly 40 capacitors replaced with audio grade Nichicon and Elna Silmics.

I powered up the unit. The volume knob is loose.. I was able to rock it a little from side to side. I suspect that the knob needs replacing since the volume knob itself moved smoothly. I hooked up a cd player to the amp and a set of headphones. You could clearly hear the cd and modify the volume. I do not have an appropriate Stereo Receiver to hook this up to at present so I could not test the speakers. Note: Upon buyer request, when sold, I will package up the unit, pay for postage, and snip a copy of the invoice. If the shipping cost paid by the buyer is more then the actual shipping cost, I will refund that difference
