Offered for your consideration is a vintage Jensen mid or high frequency adjustment knob removed from my LS-4b speakers, USA-made in 1981. This is the same knob style used on the LS-3b, LS-5b, LS-6b, and the earlier LS-3, LS-4, LS-5, and LS-6. The knob may also be correct for other period Jensen speakers, but you’ll have to make that determination by studying the photos. So, please have a look at the photos and measurements I’ve taken to decide if this attenuator knob is correct for your speaker. *Although the listing is written largely in singular to avoid any confusion, four (4) identical Jensen attenuator knobs are available at time of this writing. This Jensen mid or high frequency adjustment knob is in clean, excellent condition. It’s made of hard plastic with striated grip surface and measures ?” in diameter at bottom x ¾” tall. There may be some very small imperfections, mainly at the bottom edge if any, but that’s all. Plus, the recessed lobe has knurling to hold your speaker’s attenuator shaft securely. Vintage / Original Pair of WESTERN ELECTRIC Model KS-14792-L4 / C8RWE / C8R / C7148-3 / 71483 Full Range 25 Watt 8 Speakers. They appear to have been made by Jensen (EIA #: 220740) w/ a special Western Electric designation - C8-RWE. I believe that the R indicates they are 25 watts. As found recently, I gave them the AA Battery Click Test & they both clicked. Digital Multimeter readings are 7.3 & 7.1 (see pics). Since this was the extent of my testing I am selling them as you see them & not fully tested. Please ask any questions prior to placing a bid and/or auctions close. I acquired this pair of Jensen speakers as shown in the pictures. I suspect they had been previously mounted in some sort of enclosures. I disassembled them to make pictures and then reassembled them as shown. Physically they measure 6 x 9 inches. The partial enclosure measures roughly 8.5 x 11.7 inches. I think they were both home made. I measured the DC Resistance each 3.5 Ohms. Those readings suggests all coils are equal and not damaged. The rated impedance of these is 4 Ohms (AC Resistance).
