The cable can still be attached as you can feed it through the hole and wrap it round but I would like you to know this before purchase. Apart from that the speakers are in good working order.

Sound quality The Mini Monitor has a decent enough balance and fine overall clarity, along with good basic timing and imaging. However, there’s not much in the way of weight, scale, welly or drive. The sound is detailed and informative enough, but lacks drama, excitement and solidity. Despite a slight spittiness, voices are clean, clear and naturally balanced, with a lack of coloration that would be creditable at several times the price. While it doesn’t really have the grunt to do justice to a full hi-fi system, it’s an obvious budget choice for a bedroom system, as extension speakers elsewhere around the house, or as the rear channels in a full surround sound AV system.
