Kef Iq9 floor standing tower speakers and iq6c centre speakers circa 2005, in good condition and work perfectly, were originally maple but are wrapped in 3d carbon black, complete with spikes and in their original boxes for the iq9s no box for the centre. All can be bi-amped if you have the capable amp. These are serious tower speakers, full range and the centre is also a full range speaker. Fabulous sound and capable of producing a lot of bass if you require it. These iq9s are over a metre tall and front firing woofers so you can place them very close to a wall which is useful if you have little space I do have the matching rear surround speakers the iq1s,, not listed as planning to keep but may part with them if you would like all five as a matching set. Excellent KEF C95 Speakers - Flagship Model UniQ Towers of the time - Complete with Factory Boxes and Packaging inserts. Made in England and Beautifully Finished. However the Ferrofluid has likely dried out in the Tweeters as is common with these speakers - the sound is therefore dull - all other parts of the speaker sound balanced etc including the bass. There are options to replace the tweeter - or if you can, replace the ferrofluid - after which you are likely to have a lovely sounds pair of speakers. Now thirty years old, the classic C95 was the flagship model in KEFs C series, which first introduced the revolutionary KEF UniQ technology with the tweeter mounted dead center in the mid-range driver for amazing sonic accuracy, detail, and pin-pont imaging. 35 inches tall and weighing a hefty 42 lbs. each, these beautiful towers have a three-way design with an added internal coupled cavity running vertically through the tower, a wonderful design borrowed from KEFs state-of-the art Reference Series. But unlike the Reference Series, the C95 does not require an extra equalizer to reach the optimum frequency response balance. The C-95s also have input terminals that allow for bi-amping, for even better energy and accuracy in their sound. C95s are very hard-to-find. This is a matched pair bearing sequential serial numbers.
