Die Lautsprecher waren damals so hochpreisig, dass sie von Kenwood nur in den PX Stores der U.S. Armee verkauft wurden (exklusiv an die US-Soldaten, die damals gerne hochpreisiges Equipment kauften). Die Gehäuse haben einige Schrammen, die aber nur optischer Natur sind. Die Lautsprecher sind ohne Fehler, die Sicken sind noch perfekt. (Erstaunlich, wenn ich mit meinen Infinity vergleiche) Ich hatte die Lautsprecher 20 Jahre nur bei niedrigen Pegeln im Wohnzimmer betrieben. 10 Jahre hat sie meine Tochter sporadisch verwendet, seit ihrem Auszug standen sie in einem trockenen Abstellraum. Die Lautsprecher klingen immer noch frisch wie am ersten Tag. Probehören vor Kauf ist möglich und ausdrücklich erwünscht. Jeder LS wiegt 27 kg, deswegen ist Versand nicht möglich, nur Abholung. Pair of Kenwood 1990s LS-B5 Speakers 50 Watt 6 Ohms - Working (but tatty) sound ok, they are both tatty, on one the cover came off (it has some broken pegs), on the other speaker it is not coming off easily and I dont want to risk breaking it. the fabric covers are damaged and the cabinets have scratches and damage too, as per the photos. Collection only from Croydon. KENWOOD LS-90 Vintage Speakers (1980). In working order, recently tested and sound fantastic. Some superficial damage as pictured. Also a small tear in the mid-range cone. To my ears I can’t hear the difference to be honest. May be quite simple to repair/replace. Selling because we’ve downsized and don’t have the space but these honestly sound a lot better than a lot of modern speakers, mainly because the bass response is very immediate but not hyped so you get a nice balanced sound.
