Lowther P6M Floor Standing Speakers. Welcome to this interesting and quite exciting listing Lots to tell you some good some bad Firstly one of the speakers has been tested and in working order and the other speaker is not working , we do not know why and I will be honest I don’t know enough about Lowther driver technology to even attempt a repair , but i am presuming you do know a lot about these legendary drivers or have friends contacts or a specialist retailer that does As you can see the drivers have been mounted in correct custom cabinet which was specifically designed to get the best out the P6M The cabinets need some TLC or perhaps you have other plans for this pair of drivers Despite not knowing very much regards repair /service of the currently dead driver I am fully aware having worked in the hi-fi industry for 25 years that Lowther and the P6M are legendary and and highly collectable pieces of hi-fi history , a working pair of drivers in these particular cabinets in ok condition frequently trade hands for well over a £1000 and that price is going nowhere other than up But !! As I said I couldn’t get one of the drivers to produce any sound and the cabinets need many hours of restoration to make this a wonderful pair of speakers So if you are still reading this you have an opportunity to undertake the restoration which will give you a special pair of speakers for yourself a friend or client We are starting the auction at £200 which is less than the value of the single working driver let alone a pair in the correct cabinets The cabinets measure a 100 cm high including feet 47cm wide and 37cm deep and reasonably heavy This a collection only auction or delivery anywhere in Sussex for £100 Super happy for you to visit us in Worthing to view or inspect the speakers Happy Bidding
