There are 5 modules in total Power module: 1 module normal2 LINE modules, right side module normal??????????(Left side joule short)PHONO module: 2 modules normal (both modules shorted) Test: For reference, the operation was tested as follows. The test was performed with the defective left-side LINE module (short) disconnected. When the power supply unit is connected and energized, the energizing lamp lights up,??The power light came on when the power supply unit was connected and energized, and we confirmed that the source of each input was transmitted through the power amplifier and sound was output from the right speaker.??We confirmed that each input source was connected to the power amplifier and that sound was coming out of the right-side speaker normally. 2.When the right side LINE module was replaced to the left side, we confirmed that the sound was coming out from the left side normally.??We confirmed that sound comes out normally from the left side. 3. 3. both PHONO and LINE inputs were tested, and after repeating the operation described in 2.??We confirmed that the left and right inputs sounded normal after repeating the above test. Mark Levinson No.28 Preamp And Matching PLS-228 Power Supply. Excellent preamp including power supply. 2 sets of CAMAC/RCA connections. However I use XLR cables for pre to power, Pre to DAC. XLR CD transport to DAC and SPDIF to DAC. Then RCA / CAMAC to Phono stage from Turntable. This covers all bases for me. It's an incredible amp a few years old now but competes with some of the best at it's level and above . Have a look on line for reviews/ specs etc. I have had to spend multiple thousands of pounds to come anywhere near replacing this amp. Downside no remote available. Thanks for looking.

(8) 3’ Vintage used Mark Levinson preamp amplifier cables. I can’t guarantee they all work but there’s no reason they wouldn’t. We tested mark Levinson preamp and amps last year using these but we only used two and they worked perfectly. They came from the collection of a person that took very good care of his equipment. I could, however, criticize his use of duct tape to mark the ends. The tape will remain for the winner to use or clean as they see fit since I don’t want to risk damage if I clean it off. The ML-1 is completely black anodized with white lacquer-filled engravings, it has a timeless appearance due to a slimline visual footprint and symmetrical control layout. When it was introduced in 1977 it was considered to be the best solid state preamp available on the market. Until then it was thought that this sound quality was only possible with tubes. The sound is clean and precise, but at the same time musical and smooth. It clearly outperformed all competing solid state offerings at that time. The sound quality is rivaled today only by new much more expensive gear. The phono section is still one of the smoothest regardless of cost. You will not be disappointed with this items performance.
