It is perfect in every way with its original remote, manual double boxes and packing and we will put a 1 year parts and labor warranty on it to insure its performance to the new owner- There is so much to say about this amazing piece that I won’t attempt to take up space with its accolades… Let’s just say that the MX-170 was and continues to be the very best front end we’ve ever had in the ShowHome. The few improvements McIntosh made in the MX-180 are certainly relevant to some, but I would argue that any differences are inaudible… at least to me. Unless you need 8k processing on the HDMI, I really believe the 170 is the equivalent in most every other department.
