This is the Sony MiniDisc Deck - player and recorder, model MDS-JE500. Made in Japan in August 1996. UL Listed. We tested the playback function and it worked perfectly - see the video! We did not test the recording function, so we can't guarantee functionality in that area. Please note that vintage electronics may have a limited shelf life and do not include warranties and are sold as is.The physical condition is as you see in the pictures. No broken or missing buttons, does have cosmetic scuffs and scrapes. No remote or manual.

Sony MDS-JE500 MiniDisc Deck Recorder Player. Das Gert funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Oberflche ist allerdings ziemlich verkratzt. Auch an den Seiten sind ein paar Kratzer. Das ist auf den Fotos gut zu erkennen.

Zum Verkauf steht ein Sony MiniDisc Recorder MDS-JE 500, dessen Laufwerk defekt ist. Es läßt sich keine MD mehr laden, da an einem Plastikteil des Ladeschlittens (Slider), beschrieben im Service Manual als Lever (Limitter), eine Nase abgebrochen ist. Dieser Lever (Limitter) ist als Neuteil nicht mehr erhältlich. Deshalb biete ich den Recorder ausdrücklich als insgesamt defekt zum Ausschlachten oder als Teileträger an. Inwieweit die Lasereinheit noch funktioniert kann ich nicht mehr testen, optisch ist sie unbeschädigt, auch der Schreibkopf sieht noch ok aus! Trotzdem keine Funktionsgarantie darauf! Das Display ist zwar nicht mehr taufrisch, hat aber keine Fehlstellen (siehe Foto). Am Gehäuse sind erhebliche Gebrauchsspuren vorhanden. Die Fotos sind Gegenstand der Beschreibung. Es ist kein Zubehör dabei! Hinweis: Beim Einschalten fängt das Laufwerk an, im Intervall zu schnarren und hört erst dann wieder auf, wenn man den Recorder ausschaltet. Wenn man versucht eine MD zu laden, wird die MD nicht mehr herausgegeben!! Es besteht dann die Gefahr, dass der Schreibkopf beschädigt wird, wenn man mit Gewalt versucht, die MD zu entnehmen. Also Vorsicht!Falls sich der Recorder nicht mehr über den vorderen Schalter ausschalten läßt, muss man ihn über den Haupschalter auf der Geräterückseite ausschalten. Privatverkauf.
