This cartridge was originally purchased as a backup however, it was never used except for testing it for this listing. This cartridge tracks perfectly and sounds great. Bang & Olufsen MMC20E-B Cartridge/Stylus/Needle, Bracket, mounting kit, instructions, calibration sheet, brush and balance. You can see this particular package is likely complete. I purchased this new in approximately 1980, however, I do not think it is unused, so selling as-is. If there is enough interest, I will hook it up and test, but can only test to the extent of sounds good to me. And if testing makes a $20 difference in selling opportunity, I probably wont. Let the pictures be your guide, they were shot at fairly high resolution, so you can likely see the general condition of the needle. Selling as-is, no returns. Im guessing at the value, kindly inform me if you know the actual value.On Jun-25-23 at 22:15:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: 6/25/2023 - tested, works, sounds very clean, no hums, both channels work and are balanced at output. I do not have sophisticated equipment to set further than that, After numerous queries, I install the mounting bracket into a spare arm, and cartridge into the bracket and hooked the arm up to my nicest turntable (a Harman Kardon ST-8), balanced the arm and set the tracking force to 2.5 gms, and played the record. Sounds super clean to me, both channels play crisply, no hum, no hum when I move my hand near the cartridge, No problems that I can identify. The needle tracks accurately, no dullness to the sound to my ears. Is it perfect? No, it cant be, I played it for a few minutes. Please ask any questions.!
