Die Ausgangsstufe des CD Players arbeitet häufig an ihrer Leistungsgrenze, was den Klang negativ beeinflusst. Der klang ist häufig schroff (S Laute) und kalt. This auction is for 3 Musical Fidelity items. They are all in excellent condition mechanically and look like new. They have been in storage for over 6 years and in the move we lost the 2 connects for the X-LP and X10-D. Designed to fit between CD Players and Amplifiers this little unit, for want of a better description “smooths the flow of the musical signal”. It is in excellent condition it actually looks unused and comes complete with original packaging and PSU plus our usual 3 month warranty. Musical Fidelity Say…. The X10-D is a pure class ‘A’ triode CD line stage. It dramatically improves the performance of any CD player to which it is connected. All you have to do is take the analogue output from your existing CD player (any CD player), plug this into the inputs of the X10-D and then plug the outputs of the X10-D into your existing amplifier. You will find that there is a dramatic improvement in performance. The sound is sweeter, clearer and more dynamic. At the same time the bottom end is deeper and the imaging is greatly improved. Our research over many years has shown that the sound quality of many CD players can be greatly affected by the type of amplifier and interconnects used. This is because the amplifier and interconnects represent a variable resistive inductive and capacitive load to the CD players output stage which adversely affects its performance. The X10-D solves this problem by presenting a theoretically perfect, and perhaps more importantly, absolutely consistent load to the CD player allowing its output stage to realise its maximum potential. The X10-D, as it were, takes the load off the CD players shoulders and allows it to perform as its designers and manufacturers originally intended. The result is a hard-to-believe improvement in sound. Inherently tubes have a very high input impedance and allow elegant simplicity in the circuit design.
