Er hat eine „Audyssey- Vollausstattung“ zu bieten, die auch Audyssey-DSX, das Pendant zu Dolby ProLogicIIz, umfasst. Die Dolby-Version hat er ebenfalls an Bord. Zudem bietet er einen frontseitigen HDMI-Anschluss, über den rasch eine Videokamera oder ein anderes tragbares Videogerät angeschlossen werden kann. Auf einen Mehrkanaleingang und digitale Tonausgänge wurde dagegen verzichtet. Mit seinem Faraoudja-Scaler vermag er eingehende Videosignale in einer Auflösung von 1080p über HDMI auszugeben.
