The Edwards Audio 1A1-P amplifier is part of a very rare group nowadays: It is hand made in Britain... This version is in Black and does not come with a remote control (see the rear for confirmation that this is how it left the factory). It does have the optional MM Phono board included (again a factory, rather than an after sale, install). It has never been used, although I opened the box to ensure that it was undamaged/unmarked and was purchased originally prior to Lockdown from an authorised dealer. Note this model is the previous version to current models and as such is New Old Stock. I prefer the look of this version as the control knobs are a better size for handling and to my eyes the whole amp looks more of a design whole (rather than a collection of parts). Also the shoe box size works very well. I took some high resolution photos of this, which seems to have picked out small specks on the unit. As it has been boxed all this time these will have come from the packaging itself. Black can also be unforgiving with close up photos! Being new it is in new condition as you would expect... As a private individual (I sell only audio equipment I purchased for my own use), I cannot provide any sort of warrenty. However Edwards Audio is one of those manufacturers that I have found very accommodating in the past and can easily maintain/update equipment thay have made. This is no faceless Chinese mega factory generic box! If you are buying from outside the UK please contact me before paying and I will provide postage costs. As I am not VAT registered or a business seller the final auction figure excludes any UK VAT. However you will be responsible for paying any local taxes and import duties yourself. Pro-ject Phonobox Ds+ MM / MC Phono Stage. This phonostage has performed flawlessly for the past 3 years or so, only selling because Im in the process of upgrading and reconfiguring my system; Im upgrading to a valve phonostage in the near future. Price when new was 325. In all the time Ive used this phonostage it has been plugged into my russ andrews mains block with a Megaclamp ultra and Megaclamp module inside my power Purifier so it has been electrically well protected and generally its Been well looked after as can be seen in the pics!
