There are a couple of signs of use throughout, please see the pictures. The turntable functions excellently and sounds fantastic! There are three very minor flaws: 1) the pegs on the rear that hold the dust cover are held by two screws each, however the left peg on mine came with a single screw only.  This does not affect the function whatsoever.  2) The lift arm for the turntable is loose as a screw came free over the years.  The screw is included (it's in the bag with the anti-skate weight) but I haven't been able to get it back in as I believe I would need to remove the tonearm to access it.  This has a negligible effect on function - instead of stopping in the upright position (e.g. 90 degrees of motion), the lift arm can move a full 180 degrees which means the tone arm can be lowered with the lift arm facing forward or backward instead of just forward. 3) The faceplate with the scale for the counterweight is gone and so I use a digital tonearm balance to dial in the tracking force (which is definitely better than using the inaccurate counterweight faceplate). I will include the digital scale with the turntable.

Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable - Gray w/White Acrylic Platter Mat. I am the original owner, and have used the turntable sparingly over the past several years. The turntable is in excellent working condition and in overall good cosmetic condition with some scuffs and scratches mostly on top of the dust cover. The original Ortofon Red cartridge body failed post warrantee and I replaced it with an Audio-Technica cartridge. I have the original Ortofon Red Stylus with probably less than 50 hours playtime and can give it to you for no extra charge, but you would have to buy another cartridge body for approx. $75 in order to use it. I have the original box and packing, but do not feel comfortable shipping the item, so it is available for local pickup only.

This is a listing for a used Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB record player. It is the white model with the acrylic platter and carbon fiber tonearm. This originally shipped with the Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, but Ive swapped it out with the slightly upgraded 2M Blue, which is the one that will ship with this listing instead of the Red. The plinth and platter are in very good condition with little in the way of dust and scratches, and a couple nicks like the one you can see in the closeup of the speed button. The clear dust cover is good, but has more noticeable scratches from normal use. This ships with its original box and accessories like the 15v DC power adapter and one set of outgoing L/R RCA cables. This model does not have a pre-amp built into it. So, youll need to make sure to pick one up if you dont already have one. This record player looks and sounds beautiful, of course. Its a simple design with a lot of versatility. This can play 33 and 45 RPM records without doing any more than pushing the button.
