Offered for your consideration is a pair of Realistic metal speaker grills removed from Cat. No. 40-2045 white Minimus 7 speakers, manufactured in 1993. Please see my large photos, the measurements, and read the remaining description to decide if this Minimus 7 grille is correct for your needs.These Realistic Minimus 7 grills are in clean, very good condition. They measures 6?” tall x 4 3/16” wide and there are no dents, noteworthy scratches, or undue paint loss on the white-enameled steel. Plus, the plastic Realistic emblem is also in great shape with only minor wear to the finish that’s practically invisible with how small it is. And, there’s a bit of grey mounting putty residue at the side inner edges, as typical. Overall, this white Minimus 7 grille presents very nicely. If you have a white Minimus 7 grille that’s in bad shape or missing, this one will make your speaker(s) look as great as they sound!

Offered for your consideration is a vintage Realistic part #1218 4 inch woofer that was original equipment in my white Minimus 7 speakers, Cat. No. 40-2045, manufactured in 1991. This woofer should be correct for every Minimus 7, but buyer is responsible for verifying its suitability for their intended application. A staple of Radio Shack’s lineup for nearly two decades, the Minimus 7’s took the audio market by storm in the late 1970’s and are still sought-after by knowledgeable music lovers. And, as good as the dome tweeters are, it’s the exceptional mid/bass drivers that are largely responsible for the Minimus 7 sound! So, please see my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this capable mid/bass woofer should be yours. This Realistic 1218 woofer is in clean, excellent overall condition. It has a structurally flawless sturdy paper cone, perfect voice coil dustcap, and permanent butyl rubber surround. Plus, the black-enameled steel basket is in nice shape and there’s no oxidation on the substantial magnet structure. Plus, the +/- terminals are marked for polarity and have never been soldered on the spades. This Minimus 7 woofer is exceptionally well-preserved! Fully tested, in and out of the Minimus 7 enclosure, the driver lives up to its reputation—fast detailed midrange coverage and stout bass that belies its size. And, it’s rated to 40W in the Minimus 7, so it’s a strong platform as well. Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 6.8?, consistent with a nominal 8 ohm driver rating. Lastly, the basket flange measures 4?” across (5” at corners), it stands 2½” tall, and the mounting holes are spaced just under 3¼” adjacent / 4½” diagonal apart, c-t-c. This is a nice find if you have a blown or damaged #1218 mid/bass driver in your Minimus 7 and will have your speaker sounding its best again in no time! And, long discontinued, it’s a smart spare part to have on hand just in case. As pictured and described, this Realistic Minimus 7 woofer is offered at a competitive price.
