When I tested these Theater Research TR-1110 Digital Series Professional Home Theater Speakers I was at first a little skeptical. After plugging them in to my High End Marantz that skepticism quickly faded. I admit that I was very impressed. The sound stage was great and the bass was surprisingly very deep. Needless to say I would still recommend a subwoofer along with these but if space is hard to come by you would still be pleased. Overall these speakers are in EXCELLENT CONDITION with a dent on the back edge of one of the speakers (see photos). There are some scuffs hear and there but all minor. One thing that really caught my attention was the way the covers attach. Speaker covers are always getting broken over time, these should never break, but then the look is fabulous without the front covers so maybe you will want to show them off a bit. Stands approximately 38T, 7W and 13D. I rate these high for quality sound and design and compare their appearance to Infinity Reference. Note: if you place these in a corner be sure the sub is firing towards the wall as it will deepen the bass. An exceptional value for the money speaker. This is a pair of Vintage Acoustic Research TSW-110 Bookshelf Speakers that have been recently refurbished with new foam surrounds. The speakers are in excellent working condition and have been tested thoroughly to ensure their quality. There are a couple of minor scratches on the top wood. The grilles are in excellent shape.
