Sie bieten hier auf eine (der letzten) Revox A77 MKIV 2-Spur von 1978! Die ehrwürdige, junge Tonband-Lady ist in einem selten guten Zustand, läuft ohne Macken und mit dem wunderbar und typisch klaren, runden Revox-Sound, so wie es sein soll. Die robuste Maschine wurde - inkl. aller beweglichen Teile - gereinigt, neu gefettet, justiert etc. Die Elektronik wurde komplett überprüft, an vielen Stellen instandgesetzt und neu abgeglichen. (Sound, Spannungen, Speed Cortrol etc.). Dabei mussten etliche Kondensatoren (Spannungsversorgung, Entstörung, Motorkondensatoren..) und div. Trimm-Potis raus. Beide empfindlichen VU Meter laufen natürlich einwandfrei! Die Köpfe weisen sehr wenig Gebrauchsspuren auf. Das Gehäuse ist bespannt mit veganem Leder, Farbe Schweizer Schoggi. Untitled Document Revox A77 MK III Suitcase Half (2) Track with Reels, Tape etc + 60 day Warranty Buy it now or make a very near best offer. This is a nice half (2) track stereo machine. It is the suitcase model with built in amplifiers and speakers. It has fixed operating speeds of 3¾-7½ i.p.s. ensuring good quality of reproduction. Made in Germany it is in good condition and fully operational. In addition it has had the two stage service and setup. The switch section and all front end function controls have been checked and cleaned. Both wind motors have been checked for adequate torque. Brakes have been cleaned/adjusted for efficiency and counter belts have been replaced and the counter is operational. The pinch roller has been conditioned and the capstan pressure set by means of a spring tension strain gauge. A new tape path guide bearing has been fitted. The 2nd. stage service comprises of final set-up, calibration and alignment. In the interests of safety: The machine has been electrically ‘Pats’ tested’ (by a qualified electrician). Faulty or suspect components have been replaced. The service work has been carried out by a qualified audio engineer using a variety of test equipment including an oscilloscope, sine wave generator, test tapes, tension gauges and industry standard R.T.S./A.T.U. test set etc. Operational Performance: The machine has been set up utilising the industry standard ‘MRL’ 233-352-482-1F0 reproducer calibration tape and the working set-up with the tape as indicated on the stage II service report. Whilst the machine is in the record mode switching between source input and tape output using new or good quality tape of the type used to calibrate as stated in the service report we guarantee there will be little or no variation in sound quality or level to the recorded signal at either 1KHZ or 10KHZ utilising a test tone or music as a source input. Whilst not claiming this machine would not benefit still further from ‘a specialist technician tweak/re-calibration’ for attaining desirable or further absolute fine tuning (bias/eq setup), desirable where tape of a buyers choice is used, there is little else required to enhance the quality of the sound in our opinion. It is difficult to hear how any significant improvement in performance could be achieved. That said the machine being vintage and used will not perform as a new machine, neither could it be classed as in concours cosmetic condition and we do not offer it for sale claiming it will. It will be subject to some fair wear and tear on all mechanical and associated components and fittings even though the unit has had a thorough service so please bear this in mind. Small variations and fluctuations in performance may also differ from the Manufactures original specification if analysed. We would be surprised if any listener other than one with unreasonable expectation or the most critically acclaimed hearing should find fault with the sound characteristics or operational performance of the machine whilst using the specified tape media. Technical info: Capstan speed has been locked as per Revox service manual to 800cps @ low speed as measured with an oscilloscope, VU meters have also been calibrated to show 0db at 0.775V input. Record levels have been calibrated so that source input and tape output are equal and balanced on both channels. All lamps – sensors – switch contacts and both V.U. meters have been tested and are fully operational. ‘Wow and flutter’ has been measured and recorded and is within the accepted figures as detailed in the service manual specification. Head azimuth has been checked and adjusted for maximum coarse and fine performance. All associated mechanical checks including appropriate cleaning and lubrication to bearings, guides motors etc. where appropriate, have also been completed. The heads have of course undergone the standard degaussing and final clean. Cosmetic Condition: Cosmetically the unit is in what we would describe as ‘very good used vintage condition. The cabinet surround & lid are in the main good accepting age related marks/blemishes/etc. There may of course be some other minor normal ‘wear and tear’ scratches/chips/wear marks and evidence of other minor repairs to all areas of the unit and of course the reels but only those one would reasonably expect with a used vintage machine of this age and type. Our pictures we trust you would agree are typically reflective of the condition with nothing deliberately hidden or omitted, so to gauge the overall condition please use these as your reference point. General Condition: Overall this is a very nice example of an A77 MK III half (2) track machine. Our aim is to sell machines that sound good and operate as designed. The heads show low wear with lots of life still left to faithfully reproduce that warm analogue sound so distinctive to the Revox range. Package Content: The machine comes with two used aluminium Cine reels, with used tape. on one reel The tape supplied is as stated used, therefore it will be of varying quality and make. It is useful only to get the buyer up and working. That said the tape supplied will be free from S.S.S. and be capable of basic music/speech recording. For absolute best results we recommend new or known good quality used tape of the type indicated in the service report is used by the buyer. Should the buyer require any help in securing any such tape we will be happy to help. Included is a modern type 3 pin mains power lead which has been suitably fused. There is a tape head cleaning kit, a microphone and input/output audio leads, so there is everything supplied, the buyer needs to at least get started with the machine without the need for immediate additional purchases. A completed Quality/Calibration check list is also issued. As a bonus, included free is a cd PDF of the operation and service instructions which should prove useful for the buyers perusal or for any future reference point. ReVox A77 Bandmaschine 2 Spur 2 Track Zum Verkauf steht diese schne Bandmaschine. Es gibt uerlich kleine Gebrauchsspuren, oben einen kleiner einschliff vom Band und an der Seite einen Fehler im Furnier (bitte Bilder beachten, diese sind Teil der Beschreibung). Ansonsten ist die Maschine in einem wirklich schnen Zustand. Das Gert wurde getestet und das Abspielen mit Ton und Spulen funktioniert reibungslos. Beim Einschalten schlagen beide VU-Meter kurz aus, deren Beleuchtung geht auch. Das Zhlwerk funktioniert. Die Aufnahmefunktion wurde nicht getestet, daher wird die Maschine als defekt verkauft. Revox A77 stereo 2-track reel to reel. Serial 231719. This has been modded with a pitch wheel to the left and power / speed knob to the right. The pitch speed is amazing as it modulates between any manner of speed rather than set amounts so it’s super useful for tape warble and pitch variations. Comes with new condition original smoky cover (note this doesn’t sit easily due to the modded knobs but can at an angle it if flat). Also will include three 7 inch reels with tape (one new, two used once each) and two spare 10.5 reels - all bought from Thomann a month ago. Bought from an established artist a few months ago for a particular project that’s now complete and this modded A77 was perfect. Doesn’t look great with wear but is a unique piece that super useful for warbly music (although it rubs very cleanly). After a couple of hours it slows to a hault then starts fine after it’s cooled down for 20 minutes - never been an issue for me. Much prefer collection from BN10 but can be shipped. The second of my two Revox A77 Mk3 2 track mono/stereo that I am selling to fund a full refurb of my Mk 4. The serial no. is 132644, making it a late Mk 3 German-built model, probably early-mid 1974. It works correctly in play mode, end of tape sensor and brakes are good (see demo video using a mono 2 track tape) but as with all complex electronic equipment of this age, it will require ongoing maintenance and it is sold as seen with no warranty and no returns. In response to a question about recording, I mostly use pre-recorded tapes, and earlier having tried to record on an old tape, it failed to do so but as I knew it had worked recently, I persevered with a different tape (BASF rather than EMI) and recording proceeded as normal-this may be related to bias set up or simply the age of the EMI tape, but tape compatibility issues are not unknown and the buyer may need to experiment. In summary, the unit does record-a new video has been made to demonstrate this. Note that it has a pre-amp board that permits headphone use but no power amps, so the external speaker sockets are redundant and it must be played through a conventional amp/speaker set up as per any tape deck. Cosmetically, it is very good indeed-the wooden case has a few marks as pictured, but the smoked storage cover has no breaks or cracks and while there are scuffs, there are no real unsightly scratches. The back plate is clean and unmarked as is the control panel, with all controls present and correct The aluminium hubs have been polished purely for appearance because I like them that way and are fitted with cine/trident locks-earlier pictures do not show these as they were removed for use with NAB adapters but the later picture and demo shows them in place. A short mains lead with the IEC C9 connector is included. It will be packed carefully for shipping and insured for loss or physical damage. Untitled Document Revox A77 MK III Suitcase Half (2) Track with Reels, Tape etc + 60 day Warranty Buy it now or make a very near best offer. This is a nice half (2) track stereo machine. It is the suitcase model with built in amplifiers and speakers. It has fixed operating speeds of 3¾-7½ i.p.s. ensuring good quality of reproduction. Made in Germany it is in good condition and fully operational. In addition it has had the two stage service and setup. The switch section and all front end function controls have been checked and cleaned. Both wind motors have been checked for adequate torque. Brakes have been cleaned/adjusted for efficiency and counter belts have been replaced and the counter is operational. The pinch roller has been conditioned and the capstan pressure set by means of a spring tension strain gauge. A new tape path guide bearing has been fitted. The 2nd. stage service comprises of final set-up, calibration and alignment. In the interests of safety: The machine has been electrically ‘Pats’ tested’ (by a qualified electrician). Faulty or suspect components have been replaced. The service work has been carried out by a qualified audio engineer using a variety of test equipment including an oscilloscope, sine wave generator, test tapes, tension gauges and industry standard R.T.S./A.T.U. test set etc. Operational Performance: The machine has been set up utilising the industry standard ‘MRL’ 233-352-482-1F0 reproducer calibration tape and the working set-up with the tape as indicated on the stage II service report. Whilst the machine is in the record mode switching between source input and tape output using new or good quality tape of the type used to calibrate as stated in the service report we guarantee there will be little or no variation in sound quality or level to the recorded signal at either 1KHZ or 10KHZ utilising a test tone or music as a source input. Whilst not claiming this machine would not benefit still further from ‘a specialist technician tweak/re-calibration’ for attaining desirable or further absolute fine tuning (bias/eq setup), desirable where tape of a buyers choice is used, there is little else required to enhance the quality of the sound in our opinion. It is difficult to hear how any significant improvement in performance could be achieved. That said the machine being vintage and used will not perform as a new machine, neither could it be classed as in concours cosmetic condition and we do not offer it for sale claiming it will. It will be subject to some fair wear and tear on all mechanical and associated components and fittings even though the unit has had a thorough service so please bear this in mind. Small variations and fluctuations in performance may also differ from the Manufactures original specification if analysed. We would be surprised if any listener other than one with unreasonable expectation or the most critically acclaimed hearing should find fault with the sound characteristics or operational performance of the machine whilst using the specified tape media. Technical info: Capstan speed has been locked as per Revox service manual to 800cps @ low speed as measured with an oscilloscope, VU meters have also been calibrated to show 0db at 0.775V input. Record levels have been calibrated so that source input and tape output are equal and balanced on both channels. All lamps – sensors – switch contacts and both V.U. meters have been tested and are fully operational. ‘Wow and flutter’ has been measured and recorded and is within the accepted figures as detailed in the service manual specification. Head azimuth has been checked and adjusted for maximum coarse and fine performance. All associated mechanical checks including appropriate cleaning and lubrication to bearings, guides motors etc. where appropriate, have also been completed. The heads have of course undergone the standard degaussing and final clean. Cosmetic Condition: Cosmetically the unit is in what we would describe as ‘very good used vintage condition. The cabinet surround & lid are in the main good accepting age related marks/blemishes/etc. There may of course be some other minor normal ‘wear and tear’ scratches/chips/wear marks and evidence of other minor repairs to all areas of the unit and of course the reels but only those one would reasonably expect with a used vintage machine of this age and type. Our pictures we trust you would agree are typically reflective of the condition with nothing deliberately hidden or omitted, so to gauge the overall condition please use these as your reference point.
