Fitted with original Old style spade end connectors (I may have 1 or 2 of these I can throw in if needed) but I imagine not too difficult to modify for an alternative modern style connector.. Reluctant sale due to space restrictions. A pair of Richard Allan Triple kit built speakers that I constructed in the mid 1970s. Built as per instructions (included) with cabinets of 3/4 chipboard, these floor-standing units are very heavy, hence this auction can only be by collection. Whilst they may not be hi-end audio fidelity, they have an accurate smooth balanced sound. They work perfectly, have only ever played hi-fi music (never used as guitar monitors etc) and have the expected cosmetic scuffs and knocks to the edges and corners from house moves over the years. They can be listened to as they are or dismantled to be reconstructed re-utilising the woofer, mid-range and tweeter units. Richard Allan Flamenco - Hi Fidelity Enclosure Speakers - Circa 1960s (Rare) - I have never seen Flamenco model for sale on ebay. These speakers were produced by Richard Allan Radio Ltd in West Yorkshire the late 50s early 60s. Cosmetically they are in great condition for their age with only a few minor scuffs and scratches which I have tried to show in the photos. I have not plugged these in so I am not sure of the sound quality.
