The power does turn on and whn you attach to the stereo, its mainly static. I also have the knob that is broken off that i will send with it. I also have an extra led for the front that i will ship with it. The unit itself is in good condition. I know nothing about this, but I did have a friend test it for me.

Beautiful vintage fully working Pioneer SG-9500 equalizer. All potentiometers and switched cleaned with DeoxIt and lubricated with CRC 2-26. light bulb replaced with LED (keeping the original color). I am the second owner of this beautiful Pioneer SG-9500. I bought from an elderly man who bought it overseas while in the military. It has been well cared for in a smoke fee environment and is great cosmetic shape. The unit has been freshly recapped with Nichicon and Panasonic capacitors and the power light has been replaced with an LED bulb. Here, we have a vintage pioneer sg-9500 equalizer in good condition. There are some smaller imperfections on the faceplate. It also has scratches on the top cover. All in all, its in good cosmetic and working condition. New led installed for the power indicator. Its been cleaned with deoxit d-5 and f-5 . Ive had it for about 5 years now and never had a problem. To my knowledge, it is all original, so you may want to recap it for perfection in the sound quality. Because of parts scalpers I do not accept returns.
