I have for sale a Sony DTC-57ES DAT Digital Audio Tape Deck. Shows a bit of wear and nicks but overall it’s in pretty good cosmetic condition. Please inspect photos carefully as they form part of the description. I placed this unit in storage because although it played and all the functions worked, there was no sound. Taking it out of storage, I’m now also getting the “caution” light thereby locking out the functions. I googled the issue and there was mention of dirty pin switches but I can’t be sure that’s the issue. No further testing had been done. For these reasons and possibly other issues, I’m selling unit strictly AS-IS for parts or restoration. Comes with the user manual.

SONY DTC-57ESDAT Rekordermit einer DAT-Kassette Habe extra eine DAT-Kassette besorgt und getestet: Aufnahme und Wiedergabe funktionieren einwandfrei.Nur irgendwie kapiere ich die Einstellungen nicht mehr oder er kommt mit meinem Verstärker nicht klar.Aufnahmen per COAX direkt von der CD sind stereo, Aufnahmen über den Verstärker (Line In/Out) sind mal mono und mal sehe ich kein Signal.Fernbedienung ist dabei und funktioniert.Abholung wäre mir am liebsten, da beim Versand evtl. etwas beschädigt werden könnte.Klangqualität der Aufnahmen ist natürlich 1A - vor allem bei Aufnahme über Coax. Es ist voll funktionsfähig und wurde vor Kurzem durch eine auf HiFi spezialisierte Elektrowerkstatt repariert und auf einen voll funktionalen Stand versetzt (siehe Bild). Das Gerät wird mit mehreren hochwertigen bespielbaren Panasonic, Sony, BASF und Maxell DAT Kassetten (inklusive einer Reinigungskassette) geliefert, auf denen diverse Tonmaterialien drauf sind. Da das Gerät nicht nur abspielen, sondern auch Kassetten bespielen kann, könnten Sie somit ihr eigenes Audio auf diese Kassetten spielen. Abholung auch möglich in Jena, Thüringen.
