I acquired this as part of a job lot of electronic items from auction. It powers up, but the platter does not turn. This could be an issue with the belt or the starter mechanism as I can hear it clicking but it will not engage. The lid also has a long crack down the middle of it as well as other scratches. It is therefore being sold on a spares or repairs basis. These are quite valuable when fully functioning so would be a bargain for someone who can recondition it and make it work. Sony PS-LX350H Manual Belt-Drive Turntable This is the true audiophiles dream turntable: belt-drive and fully manual. Why belt drive? Many believe that a belt-drive system better isolates the platter from motor vibration, far more than a direct-drive setup ever can. And fully manual operation eliminates any possible interference from complex auto systems. In addition, this turntable has a wide-range pitch control that lets you adjust playback speed up to +10% or -10%. Two speeds are available: 33 and 45. Cartridge brand is unknown. Plays well but you may want to replace stylus (or cartridge) since stylus wear is unknown. There are a few minor scratches and rubs on plinth, and dust cover has its share of minor scratches (but no cracks). Hinges are in perfect condition. Turntable measures 17-3/4 wide, and 14-1/4 deep.
