Ultra Rare Sony WM F65 Stereo Recording Walkman / FM AM Stereo Radio WORKING - Please read description. Includes original Sony Stereo Microphone and Sony MDR-A40 Turbo folding Stereo headphones with original Sony branded carry case for the headphones / microphone. Both mic and headphones work perfectly and I was surprised how good the sound of the headphones are! These are now going for silly money and most often dont include the original mic / headphones. The Walkman has had a new belt fitted. It plays and records tapes absolutely fine with no issues. This model has a really good sound, I was very surprised by the quality. The AM / FM radio also works perfectly with excellent sound. No damage or corrosion to the battery compartment its very clean. There are a total of 3 screws missing, this does not effect the performance of the unit and it still feels very solid without these screws in, Im sure you can easily source replacements cheaply. The headphone jack is missing the small silver circle piece (this is purely cosmetic and does not effect sound output, both mono and stereo output signals are not effected and are working perfectly. Again if required you can easily source a replacement. The final minor issue is that the volume pot requires treating with some Dioxit as currently when you rotate the volume wheel you can hear a crackling sound. When the wheel is not being turned the sound is clear, bright and punchy working perfectly, it just crackles when you turn the wheel. A very common issue that can easily be rectified with a little Dioxit and unfortunately I dont have any to hand. UK shipping via UPS / DPD fully insured with tracking. SPARES OR REPAIR Sony Walkman WM-BF65. I dont know much about its history. I havent fully checked it over or fully tested it, but I as a rough guide, when batteries are put in, the display shows the time blinking. When play is pressed and the motor sounds like it is turning, but the spindles arent turning. There is no sound. Based on the above, its sold purely as seen and strictly for spares or repairs only with no guarantees of operation. The cosmetic condition is as seen in photos. There is no belt clip. Hopefully someone has the knowhow to fix, or it can be a good source of parts for someone. This is sold strictly as seen in photos as spares or repair with no returns.
