Set of 3 vintage 3 15 minute magnetic tape reels. Used as message tapes and intended to be contain a recorded message and be posted to the recipient. 3 different brands - the most well known is the Scotch One Five Special, Zonatape and one other. All have been used and the boxes are pretty scruffy, but an interesting piece of recording technology history. Untested Im afraid so I have no idea of the quality or state of the tape.

All the other 5 by 7inch tapes are unbranded, The tapes in pictures five and six are 5inch tapes and the only genuine one is in the Philips box. The parcel weighs 3 kilos and the postage and packaging is £6.50 and it includes 60 pence for a signature.

NAB EMI AGFA Reel to reel tapes 10.5 x 1/4 Metal Cases. 22 cases. 20 with tape on. 17 with apparently full tape. Please see photos.Most are EMI, one is AGFA. These are from my late father, an audio engineer at the BBC and an audio geek of the highest order! I have his reel to reel, but alas no NAB adaptor. So I have no idea what is on these tapes! I have photographed some of the tapes with text on, but I have no way of knowing if this is what is actually recorded. So its a mystery selection for the curious. Or a big lot of tape to record over, your choice. I will do my best to answer questions, but Im no audio expert myself. These have been warm dry stored in Dads office for at least 40years, maybe longer. Cash on collection only please. Collection from Bath.
