This listing is for a TEAC RC-204 wired remote. This is for the TEAC X-2000R reel to reel - Ive occasionally used it with my own X-2000R and it works exactly as it should. It will also control the X-2000, X-2000M and TASCAM 3030, noting they dont have the reverse play functions. Note that I have an RC-205 in a separate listing. That was sold for a couple of high end cassette decks, but is essentially the same remote as the RC-204 with different labelling. Ive tested it with my X-2000R and its fully functional except you have to know what the buttons are labeled on the RC-204. Its also around half the price of this.
