This is the fabulous Technics SL-10 in excellent working condition, serviced, restored, upgraded with manual, inlay to enable transparent records to be played, AM Silver Reference cable 0.9m (£49 alone)—original and newly custom-made puck and dust cover. The SL-10 is a design classic and an engineering masterpiece - there is one in the permeant collection of the Museum of Modern Art. See the HiFi News review. Serviced by SL-10 expert - I also service this for other people and have restored 3. The 310MC cartridge is a miraculous engineering achievement, not possible to make now - the cantilever is a boron tube made by a patented evaporation process that is impossible to obtain today, even on cartridges costing several thousand pounds. Trying to get a company to fit a new stylus onto the original boron tube is nearly impossible, but expert Stylus UK tried and succeeded without breaking the cantilever. Their microfine profile is better than the elliptical fitted initially, so this sounds better than any other SL-10. Upgraded - New puck with a strobe disc. The puck attached to the lid was originally designed so that the turntable could be attached to a wall, played upside down, etc., but there isnt enough clearance for 180g records, which causes the rotating puck to touch the plastic inside. I have custom-machined a new lower-height puck on a lathe that can play 180/200g records fine. The sound quality improved too. Note that the strobe disc is now on this new puck. The told puck can be refitted if required, but I wouldnt recommend it. Found at an estate sale and all functions work upon testing .I bought a AT85EP cartdrige to test and play a few records it has very little use on it .The player did come with theTechnics 310MC but needs to be rebuilt with a new stylus otherwise sold as is See Pictures !!!! Will Ship Insured

For sale is a beautiful used Technics SL-10 Linear Tracking Turntable that is in great shape. I have owned it for about 10 years. It includes Technics 310MC moving coil cartridge that I had professionally retipped 2-3 years ago. The cartridge now has a titanium cantilever and a .2x.7 nude elliptical stylus. The stylus has approximately 15 hours of use (I didnt use it much). It sounds great. The cue drops and raises the arm well and its well dampened (doesnt drop the needle hard on the record), the speed is accurate, repeat works, forward and reverse tracking work in both slow and fast speeds. Red strobe light works. Cue light works. The under platter red LED lights illuminate. Cosmetically the turntable is in really great shape with a couple nicks here and there and very small very light scratches. You have to get close up to notice. The acrylic dustcover is clear. No deep scratches, hazing or gouges. Just has very light swirls. The turntable also has its original feet (with the chrome trim) and springs. Comes with power cord and also includes original RCA/ground wire. Approximately in 2017 I had the turntable looked over by a turntable specialist and the gears were relubed and the little O ring belt replaced. I do not have its original box but it will be packed up very well with lots of padding and lots of care!! This is a great example of a classic Technics SL-10 with its moving coil cartridge. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Technics SL-7 linear tracking turntable. Has been serviced and adjusted recently.Comes with recently re-tipped Technics 310mc cartridge. It’s a nude hyper-elliptical stylus with original boron cantilever. About 2 albums on the stylus. Sounds fantastic. Overall condition I would say is 9/10.
