Im the original owner and this unit was purchased new from a local electronics shop back in 1988. ITEM CONDITION: Unit has been well maintained and is in good working condition, however please be advised the tone control switch is somewhat temperamental and may need servicing since when pressed on or off it shifts the L/R balance control by a few random dbs from center and it takes some jiggling to correct balance. ALSO NOTE: Back in 2012 this unit was brought to a local electronics repair shop because the original power amplifier IC expired. At the shop the original SVI 3204 power amp IC (2 x 50W into 8?) was replaced with an SVI 3205 (2 x 65W into 8?). The on/off power switch was also replaced. The original repair invoice is also included. Unit does have a few minor signs of wear around the exterior.
