These speakers do not require the rich description experts of them well know. The speakers are tested, they exellent vintage sound and are in good condition. Speakers are removed from two identical units with single-ended tube amplifier and then used only with low power single-ended tube amplifier. Because of its opened magnetic system this speakers should be used with a dust protecting cloth. In my opinion the speakers sound excellent, they have low soft bass, clear mid and high frequencies (in my opinion these speakers can play surprisingly high frequencies). 2x TESLA ECC802S (=E82CC 6189) lk Telefunken, Close 1966 Date Codes, NOS/100%++/Matched/Balanced! 284+286 You are bidding on two pieces of a rare TESLA ECC802S (12AU7WA, E82CC) variant. These are industrial-grade tubes made for army or aerospace use, and other demanding applications. Construction-wise, they are similar to the exceedingly expensive Telefunken ECC802S tubes, and some like these even better. Both tubes feature non-corrosive pins, old-style yellow prints, large ribbed plates, copper system and grid posts (as well as gold-plated grid wires, see the last photo), and large halo getters. Rare 1960s production! Both tubes are NOS, with 7/1965+3/1966 date codes. The tubes were tested as 100%++, and also checked for leaks, and shorts under both cold and hot conditions. Nice optical condition, please see photos. Testing well, and well matched/balanced, withing approx. 5%: Tube 1 (284): Ia1= 4.80 mA / Ia2 = 4.70 mA, S/gm1= 1.50 mA/V / S/gm2= 1.50 mA/V Tube 2 (286): Ia1= 4.70 mA / Ia2 = 4.80 mA, S/gm1= 1.40 mA/V / S/gm2= 1.50 mA/V They would be great for guitar amps (Fender Twin, Gibson GA90, Magnatone 415 or as subs for 12AX7s/12AT7s where applicable), for microphones, as well as for hi-fi purposes or DIY projects. 2x TESLA ECC83 (=12AX7 B339 6L13 CV492), Foil Getter, 1961 Codes, 100%++ (48+51) For your consideration, 2 pieces of *original* 1961 TESLA ECC83 tubes. These are the rare first production ECC83 variant TESLA made for a short time during late 1950s and early 1960s. They feature foil disc getter on a large and robust support, smooth folded plates, non-corrosive pins, and yellow prints. Newer variant of the logo. Print on both tubes is very nice, these are near-mint/NOS! Some isolation paint loose inside, which is normal for these, isolation tested and found to be excellent. These have 1/1961 + 9/1961 date codes, same construction. They test as 100%++, and reasobably well matched/balanced (within approx. 10%), with following results: Tube 1 (48): Ia1 = 3.20 mA / Ia2 = 3.20 mA, S/gm1= 2.20 mA/V / S/gm2= 2.30 mA/V Tube 2 (51): Ia1 = 3.50 mA / Ia2 = 3.40 mA, S/gm1= 2.40 mA/V / S/gm2= 2.30 mA/V ...where a new/unused tube should have S/gm = ~1.60 mA/V, good value for transconductance starts at 1.2 mA/V. Paired from a larger lot of NOS tubes. These are NOT re-branded RFT tubes, but genuine early production TESLAs.
