Vintage Akai Gx4000d Reel To Reel Player Recorder with dust cover. Both in stunning condition with only a few age related marks and some slight wear to corners of the veneered sides. Unfortunately listed for parts not working. When testing both channels worked without fault but after about 10mins the left channel stopped working. When the tape was stopped and restarted the left channel intermittently worked again,but after a while stopped. So at present only the right channel is working. Please be fully aware of the above before bidding. This would make an ideal project someone as I think its too good to split for parts. Open to sensible offers. Sound is really good.Please study the pictures and video.It is totally original and as far as I can see it has no noticeable defects.Please watch the video to show it working. Power button is temperamental.However this unit has not been tested or serviced by a professional and you are buying as such.
