The bass/midrange diffuser iswoven from kevlar fiber. A magnetic tweeter system is neodymium. It carefullyleads the line of top bass, gives a picture of the content of the middlesegment of the low-frequency register, timely responds to the attack. Allreproducible low-frequency components sound clear, and there is nocharacteristic darkening in the lower middle. Vocals are vividly, naturally andintonationally rich. The high frequencies are clean, with a comfortable aircontent, but on the whole, slightly softened. However, the timbre structure ofmost acoustic and electronic instruments is shown truthfully. Difficultsymphonic and choral works sounded surprisingly decently. Wharfedale Diamond8.1 coped well with the transfer of dynamically inhomogeneous musicalfragments: the sound is not broken down, entire registers do not disappear intonothing, as often happens with loudspeakers from this price category. Diamond8.1 is quite versatile and as a musical pair, and as satellite speakers forhome theatre. Design is reliable, well balanced. Compact loudspeakers with abass-reflex port on the front panel can be placed even in the furniture wall. This is a good variantof central speaker system for small and medium rooms. All speakers have ability to handle high/ low inputs, or can be barred together.
