This excellent condition Bose tweeter is from a great sounding, but cosmetically rough pair of 301 Series II. The same tweeter was used in the 301 Series III, and in 601 Series II and III. The machine type screw that threads through the angled molded plastic tweeter mount into the back of the magnet is provided, so thats usually all thats possibly needed to allow mounting. If you have broken the tweeter mounts or lost them, inquire, and Ill set up a separate transaction at reasonable cost. Besides the mounting screw, I left the wires soldered to the lugs, and cut the wires to the crossover, leaving as much length as could be provided for each tweeter. This will allow several simple, secured options for connection part of the installation. If you need a pair, I have a pair listing, also a woofer, which may remain available. This is a superb condition original Bose 301 Series III woofer, same part also used in the 301 Series III speaker model. It has nominal 8 diameter, includes the trim ring, and has great integrity of foam surround, cone, and dust cap. I tested this woofer in a cosmetically rough cabinet, and it sounds great. The other speakers woofer had sustained a tear to the cone, so I am making the parts available, as the 301 Series II was a great design worth preserving. The wires remain solder attached to the driver terminals, cut within about an inch of the crossover connections, so they will be easy to install with crimp connectors, wire nuts, or soldered connection. Im also selling separately a total of 4 tweeters and grill parts from same pair, listed separately while they remain unsold. These have been thoroughly tested and work perfectly. I am not a expert grader but have sold thousands of collectibles. I think they are very close to mint condition. You have to look very very close to find even the smallest imperfection. Lower 48 only!!! I do not accept returns. I spend countless hours making sure my items are exactly as described.
