This is a later version of the RB-1080 that is set up for easy bi-wiring with two pairs of speaker terminals on each channel. This amp came to us in a trade with one channel not working. We went through and diagnosed the amp, and replaced faulty transistors, and some caps on both amp boards. The amp was biased, and put through its paces on our bench. We followed that up with a week in our house system where it performed flawlessly. The amp has ample power at 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms, and has both balanced and unbalanced inputs. Physically the unit is in very good condition, with some small blemishes and scratches. The front panel is in very good shape, with one small ding on the heat sink that is second from the right. Overall the unit presents itself very well. We dont have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the unit, and use water activated, fiber reinforced tape on all seams.
