For that someone who has everything, up for sale is a rare collection of all four Infinity Crescendo Series speakers from the mid 1990s, plus a hand-crafted 4-Way center speaker. We purchased these to have an amazing sounding 5-channel speaker system with matching tonality that needs to be heard to be believed! Used and in typical condition for vintage speakers, these speakers have always been kept indoors in a smoke-free home. The Crescendo line had four different speakers that all featured Emit-R Tweeters and IMG Woofers. The Crescendo line started with the CS- 3006, which featured an Emit-R, a 3 IMG midrange, and an 8 IMG woofer. The CS-3007 was a floor standing speaker and featured an additional woofer and a larger cabinet then the CS- 3006. The CS-3008 featured an Emit-R tweeter, a 4 midrange, a 6.5 mid-base coupler, and a 10 woofer. The CS-3009 featured an additional 10 woofer. At the time of their release in 1993 these CS 3009 speakers were retailing for $2,700 a pair and being marketed in a big box retailer environment that was used to selling speakers for a fraction of that price. Each store had one pair of CS-3009s in the speaker room, and none in stock to sell. If a client wanted one, they would have to order it from the regional warehouse, as no store ever kept a boxed pair in their stockroom.
