Selling these for my grandparents who are downsizing. Originally $300 a piece in around 1995 when they acquired them. I gathered these were the speakers to get in that price range at the time. However, the S40 sounded better. (By comparison, the Allisons sounded too bright, whereas the S40 sounded more natural.) I highly recommend the S40 speakers.
