As a former ADA dealer, Ive used this model amp to drive difficult, low impedance loads over many years without incident. All channels tested & sounding great. All meters & switches work correctly. The fan works as it should, and remains quiet. Cosmetics are consistent with age, with scratching on the top panel, and some minor scratches (difficult to see in photos) on meter panel. This amp is quite heavy, with a chassis constructed of 1/8 aluminum and a massive power supply. It will be packed correctly. Includes power cable.

This ada SSD-66 is no longer functioning properly and being sold AS-IS for parts/repair. It does power on, but was outputting some pretty horrid noise (at least with an unconnected AC-3 input - I didnt do any tests with the outputs connected after that). The vector display does seem to indicate a signal (regardless of the selected input), which show what it was outputting. It crashes pretty quickly after powering on (usually within a minute) - the input display goes blank, the buttons no longer have any effect, and the signal source location in the vector scope returns to the center. Sometimes only the signal source is lit in the vector display, and other times the input button remains lit and the speaker/corners in the vector display remain lit. A couple of photos show those states (but may not be the only such states) I didnt inspect the exterior closely since Im selling for parts, but did notice that top panel does have some scratches and was removed (possibly for a firmware upgrade or other service, and likely a screw missing), and a visible scratch/chip on a front panel handle. Includes:SSD-66 unit with the DSP loop jumper (will be detached for shipping, but included)Manual for version 2, and other manual (guessing an earlier version since theres no obvious version number)No power cord or remote I can try to perform tests on request, but may not be able to do so in a timely fashion.
