The Adcom GFA 1 was first produced in 1979, Adcoms first high current amplifier. The GFA-1 uses a fan to silently keep the amp cool through all power ranges. This amp sounds as good or better than any $3000 all day. I had an Adcom GFA 555 MKII that I bought in 1985 brand new and this GFA-1 amp sounds just as good as the GFA555MKII. This amp sounds great at lower listening levels and also at higher listening levels. It will move air and yes you will feel like your at a concert, any concert.
