When you plug it in, the power light on the button and the 4 snazzy green LEDs under the top cover light up like a disco – check out the pics for proof!But heres the kicker: when you hit the power button, the light stays stubbornly red, and those green LEDs are like, Nah, not today. Plus, the power button doesnt have that satisfying click we all love in a power switch. And, to top it off, the fans never get the memo to join the party.Could be a simple fix, might be a major thing – who knows? If youre not up for a little DIY action, this might not be your jam. The 5800 is a Nelson Pass designed MOSFET amp with a 10 watt class A bias. This amp will drive 99% of the speakers on the market today to reference volume levels. The output with a 1K sine wave was measured at 332 watts/channel before clipping. This amplifier will provide another 30 years of sound performance. Works, was living in a closet for a few years after owner had upgraded system. One owner, non-smoker, no pets. Was part of a healthy home theater system. Not sure how many hours. It was previously very dusty on the inside and was blown out with compressed air and the outside was wiped down. It may need additional cleaning. The outside shows some wear.
