Time to sell my Denafrips Ares ii DAC due to upgrade time. I bought this direct from Vinshine Audio the Febuary of last year. It has had the two firmware upgrades from this year. I have for sale a gently used and wonderfully functional Denafrips Ares II. It works exactly as designed and sounds great. I will transfer the remainder of the 3 year factory warranty (21 months left) to the new owner by emailing Vinshine (per their process). That way you have piece of mind with your purchase. Denafrips has a service center in Buda, TX should you need to exercise the warranty. I have successfully updated the firmware on this unit twice now. The first time was from the original factory firmware to the 12th Anniversary firmware, then again to a revised version of the 12th Anniversary firmware with improved midrange and bass performance (most recent firmware release). I am only selling this Ares II due to a recent upgrade to a Pontus II. Denafrips DACs are awesome. I am not accepting returns with this DAC as the warranty is only transferable one time.
