Enjoy the pure sound from vinyl records with this audiophile Ariston RD-80 SL Transcription Deck Turntable, with a Linn Basik LV-X graphite straight-line tone arm, and mounted with a Supex SD 900/E + Super moving coil cartridge, plus the turntable’s owner’s manual. I am the original owner and purchased the turntable new in 1980. I am selling it, reluctantly, due to moving to a smaller home without a dedicated music room. This vintage piece of hi-fi history is in great condition, both operationally and cosmetically (no warranty). There are a few minor marks on the unit’s original dust cover, a couple of small scratches in the wood base, and the platen cover could be cleaned again if you are really particular; please examine all photos. I will have the turntable professionally packed and shipped to you, but I highly recommend that upon receipt you take this precision instrument to a reputable hi-fi shop for calibration and a new belt. Please note that moving coil phono cartridges require a “head amp” (not included) either built-in to your pre-amp (like the Carver C-1), or added as an external device. Great looking vintage turntable! Great condition for its age! Seems to be functioning for the most part but the tone arm skates to the centre of the platter as soon as you place it on, not sure how to fix this so selling for parts/ repair See photos for condition

Ariston RD80SL belt drive suspended sub chassis turntable in good condition and full working order. The cosmetics of the turntable are also good. It is clean, there are only very minor marks on the lid and plinth is generally in good shape as well with just a few minor marks that we have done our best to polish out. See photos. It does not come with a tonearm and is fitted with an armboard for Hadcock tonearms. If you wish to fit a different brand of tonearm, a different board can easily be purchased and simply screwed on to the sub chassis. We are happy to ship worldwide. Please just ask for a quote. The turntable is still functional, but unfortunately, there are some issues that need to be addressed. The turntable rubber and metal top bit of plate are missing, and the top cover plastic corners have cracks. Additionally, one of the capacitors is burst and needs to be replaced. The item also has some wear marks such as scratches, so please review all photos to assess its overall condition.

Ariston RD 11 80sl Manual Belt Drive with SME Carbon Fiber and Ortofon Cartridge. In like new condition. Have not used in 20 years. Has been in box in closet but turns on. Have not put all together. The tape on arm base was for shipping. In original box and packing. It is in pristine condition. Really like new. Belt may need changing due to age not use. Damping fluid probably needed for carbon fiber arm. Ortofon 200 cartridge is perfect.

Ariston RD80 Vintage Turntable -Rega Tonearm -audio Technica Cartridge. Classic turntable. Linn on a budget. New belt fitted. Ive polished the platter up as it was flat. Has original lid, small crack which doesnt affect use. Comes with a rega r200 tonearm fitted with rb250 weight as I bought without. Works fine, only downside is tone arm clip is missing but the arm sits nicely on its rest with lifter up. Comes with titanium headshell and award winning audio technica cartridge. I will be sad to see this go but need to downsize my collection 99p start

Ariston RD80 Original Turntable - Polished Platter And Plinth. All this needs is a Tonearm , cartridge and lid. Comparable to a Linn sondek at a fraction of the cost. It has 33 and 45 and Ive spent hours bringing a nice shine to the platter as it was dull as dishwater. Selling a used armboard to mount a Linn or Jelco tonearm on an Ariston RD80 or RD40 turntable. Very good condition. Measures 1 cm thick. Not sure what material its made from. Includes the two screws to mount it to the turntable. This was on a RD80 that I bought and have been using for 8 or 9 years. The RD80 had a Linn Basik LVX, but I changed it to a Rega tonearm, so I no longer need this.
