Welcome to this listing for the amazing, compact and stylish SC-M12 power amp by Aurex. Aurex was the high-end brand of Toshiba. In the late 1970s and early 80s they produced a set of microsystems, delivering anything but micro performance. This 30w/ch amp has excellent sound. I have enjoyed using it a lot but my hifi clearout continues! I have used it to drive even large speakers with low sensitivity and its been fine. Cosmetically it is in pretty good condition. All switches work quietly without issue and all speaker push tabs are intact. The all-metal construction is fantastic and puts many modern devices to shame. Its old and as far as I am aware hasnt been serviced, so performance could jump even higher if that was undertaken. The service manual is easy to obtain online. I have a few pictures for now but I will try to get more up shortly.
